For the past week my neck has been entirely locked up where I can’t move my head side to side much. It’s gotten better but still bothersome a week later. This type of thing happens once every month or two and is from getting choked. This last time was from a power guillotene, but happens a lot with any head and arm choke, and even rnc sometimes.

I’m seeing a specialist for it in a week, but get really uneasy knowing this is my spine I’m fucking up. Does anyone else have this issue? I’ve modified my game around not getting darced coming up from bottom, I guess I’m gonna have to change up my takedowns too because one guy at my gym hits this guillotine on my single and double legs all the time

i started training like a week ago and i got guillotine and even if i tapped quite early i could hear during it a few of my neck bones crack,it was more like he was pulling my head more than a choke, the thing is that i havent felt pain or locked at all, just worried about the sound it made, is it just pain or i could experience something worse if i dont tap soon enough? like my neck bones could break or something, i know people here not like doctors but at least have experienced this more than i have, maybe its just normal and you have to endure it while training and get used to it i dont know

Mine pops a bit during head and arm chokes, and a stubborn 53 year old guy I roll withs neck cracks when I arm triangle him, to the point where I can clearly hear it. If it doesn’t hurt by now I wouldn’t worry about it, but go see a dr and get an mri if you’re able to if you want, that’s what I’m doing.

My neck is still jacked up after like two months. Stopped for like 3 days then I actually felt it pop again bridging on my head to disentangle from a leg lock and then couldn't look left for a week

I've had it where my neck popped out of place from face planting, so that the normal curve was altered (xray confirmed). Chiropractic treatments put it back (also xray confirmed).

I should say I didn't have problems moving my head IIRC.
