Just wondering - what's the highest quality option you get when you buy the SD version? I heard you actually get the 720HQ option which just looks the same as 720HD to me, in which case there's really no point in paying extra for the HD version, even if it's only $5.
Can anyone confirm/disprove this?

Good question, because I plan on watching UFC 200 on PlayStation Live Events Viewer. I'm hoping the HD Stream is good.

I alwayz buy the cheap one myself. It's $10 cheaper... & maybe there'z a difference if you put them side by side but it doesn't bother me a bit. It's "not" like watching a blockbuster like starwarz or something where every graphic needz to shine through ya know.

It's not ever "choppy" or anything like that. I got no problem with it. Someone waz saying that if you buy it through your PlayStation account that you get 10% off of that as well... I haven't tried it but will on my next PPV.

...sooooo does it give you the 720HQ option? 540p? 480?

Oh sorry....

No, I didn't notice any optionz. Pretty sure it's the 720 but I don't really pay attention. Honestly there may be a pull down menu to pick from different resolutionz... but I haven't really paid attention.

I just click, click, buy.

Call it "the mailman combo" of ordering PPV! Lol.

Ok so you didn't check but you can cofirm that it looks pretty much like HD right? You can't tell the difference?

By definition SD is 480p. However everyone plays loose with definitions and it's possible they would let you see 720p (not sure what 720 HQ is.... never heard of that.)

I would have to assume that streaming at 480 or 720 would mean less chance of buffering or having the signal change resolutions. I'd shoot for 540p or 720p just to see if it worked flawlessly.

I have but looks like shit on a 60" TV. On a 15 inch Laptop/ portable it's definitely watchable.

That's what I thought but I heard 720HQ somewhere. If you look at the quality settings on fight pass there's 720HD then 720HQ

Did you check what quality setting you had available? I'm just using a laptop

It was awhile ago. I think Browne vs Arlovski and DC vs AJ. Tbh not sure what quailty options I had. I believe I choose "best available" or 300kbps

When are they gonna actually have the UFC Fight Pass app on the PS4?

A few months a go I accidentally ordered the a ppv in SD. The thing is with my cable provider (Charter Spectrum) it's the same price regardless of SD or HD. I tried to call to see if I could get it switched to over to the HD Channel, but there customer service sucks so bad I couldn't get through. It's not unwatchable, but it still a little shitty.

The aspect ratio is wack, the picture is a little blurry, and the sound quality sucks. It's like watching the King of Queens on some crappy daytime syndicated channel
