We can discuss how fat he looked. Or how he has completely forgot how to wrestle. Or how instead of even trying to cut off the cage, he just stopped and put his arms out, like a guy using footwork and movement is in some way cheating lol

Seriously, what has happened to this man?? The guy looked like Damon Waynes from The Great White Hype

Well Rampage has never been a workout warrior with training and getting older you lose even more interest. Twilight of his career is what we are seeing.

I think a moment of silence is more appropriate.

That "fight" licked balls.

I'm starting to think there was a mistranslation and Rampage thought Ishii agreed to let him punch him in the face when they signed the fight.

His reactions would have made sense if he was coming forward throwing but he'd take a step, throw nothing and back up like 'damn man I thought you said...'

Shitty fight. Rampage just looks older and not into it.

Schilling/Kato was the real main event.

and to think he beat Maldonado handily just over a year ago whereas Fedor got knocked out then woken up by him in the same round. Rampage just seems ignorant if he isn't fighting a well known fighter.

It was a joke of an appearance and fight by him from the hop. It was too evident that the man had hardly trained for this fight. And I'm not saying this from judging his physical appearance alone; man was panting like a beaten horse early in the first. Even his demeanor in-cage was a fuckin joke. Calling on his opponent to engage by flailing his hands within the first minute while he had done squat and hadn't attempted to either, to turning around and putting his back to him. If you want to put on a show and a fight you must train like you want to or you'll end up not only letting yourself down but also the fans. Lethargy has no place here, even for the past their prime greats.

Can call it age, but there are lots of older fighters in great shape.

I think Rampage has just lost that drive to train like he once did, probably has too many yes men around him in training who knows. But lets keep in mind that he hasnt been dominated in a fight other than Baders ground hump, in years...so even if he is older...and doesnt train as hard as he once did he is still winning lol...that might be a big deterrent from him doing what he needs to to be at his best.

Lol, I felt the exact same thing mate, completely. It was if assumed and thought it was set that the Judokai was going to engage in a shot for shot session with him. Fucking joke.

Damon Waynes still KO'ed buddy in no time.

Rampage vs Fedor should be next. Come on.

For a moment I thought he wasn't fighting because he wanted to screw Bellator's event

Then he changed the strategy on the 3rd and was actually looking the finish so I don't know what to believe

First time I've ever seen a fighter complain the other guy was doing nothing without throwing a punch.

Maybe that expert hypocrisy was what got him a 30-27 from one judge lol.

If I had to guess, I'd say Rampage was probably injured in camp and couldn't train properly. He was a lot heavier than he's ever been, and moved super slow. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say that next time we see him he should look better than he did against Ishii.

Fighters don't have primes, some were just never good or not as good as people thought.

Rampage could have been so much better if he just moved to a well established gym.

Well he looked fat because this was a HW fight not 205. And he hasnt been fighting consistently so ring rust was a factor he even mentioned that. Hes also got alot of mileage as a fighter.

Yeah well Fedor destroyed and KO'd Ishii whereas Rampage got dominated on the ground and lost a decision to him

It was a catch-weight Ethan and no ring rust excuses not throwing then acting mad the other guy isn't.

I like Rampage but that looked like his fatter, less interested older brother.
