Bringing back on old thread....just to see if any news on Bowles ever surfaced. Is he in or out of prison? Any other news? Maybe he's just kept a really low profile since his troubles--can't blame him there.

He did a short county jail bid in Jackson County Dentention Center, but didn't serve any state or federal time for the various drugs and weapons found. He was released and began training under Freddy Assuncao, Raphael's brother.. last I heard around the gyms, in early 2017, was that he was planning to fight again. But it is 2yrs later and he hasn't fought.

Even Krazy Horse gets some attention when he is in prison - which is like every other month.

He got busted in 2015 for possession of meth, weed, another class iV drug all with intent to sell in Georgia. Funny thing, he lived on Stoner Road in Arcade, GA.

Maybe he can be a stunt double for "Marky" Mark Wahlberg. It would be hard to make a comeback at age 38 in a light weight class. A small drop in speed/reflexes is a killer at LW and below.

Yeah, and Lee Murray does frequent interviews from prison...after armed robbery. Of course he's in a different country. Sounds like Bowles sidestepped hard time and just kept a really low profile.
