As Faber lifted Cruz off the ground I was all, "OH SHIT FABER'S GOT HIM!!!"

Then approximately 12 milliseconds later Faber was on his back with Cruz on top in DOMinant position.

Cruz makes it look so easy. I know fans either want to love or hate his style but the guy really is ahead of his time. His defense is phenomenal, his fight IQ is off the charts and his ability to consistently make accurate split second decisions is unnaturally good

I'd say he's more humble than say Luke rockhold lol. You don't think the adversity he has overcome is impressive? I actually think he is quite reserved and modest. I agree about the winding up of Faber tho, they won't fight again in all likelihood and the conclusion was clear cut so could have been more magnanimous.

That's not to say it's easy overcoming injuries but IMO if you're injury prone you shouldn't talk like the MMA world owes you something for being there... dude is a helluva fighter and clearly the best 135 lb fighter in the world. He earned it but it bothers me that he has a chip on his shoulder about it. He's fragile and it's no one's fault. He has overcame it so... why act like it's anyone's problem but his?

I mean torn ACL's are usually career ending injuries in sports Cruz over came 3 and came back competing at a high level and won the championship again. I understand if you don't like him but downplaying the adversity Cruz has overcame is ignorant.
