well, watch mY vid, and ask me exo-psucialcally mechicall questions abOut mY SYstemaa@ [YT]LidMfUkxqSo[/YT]

Hi kpoz,

I wanted to ask about your nano nuclearonic cyborg summoning armbar. The fact that you twist it to finish instead of strictly straightening out the arm came up in a discussion that I had with Gambledub, and he said that if I bumped one of your threads, you could explain the mechanics of twisting to finish this armbar better than he, so here I am.

Looking at this vid, I have a couple questions:

[YT]0GR0ecBfB68[/YT]

To twist, do you essentially drag the opponent's arm to a diagonal angle, and then pull their wrist down and away from their shoulder to apply torsion and finish? Or am I missing something? It seems that you generate quite a lot of pressure on their elbow joint in a short period of time and I am uncertain as to where exactly this comes from.

I am also wondering if "hooking" your own elbow somewhat behind the opponent's elbow (as opposed to directly around it) would lend itself to a more powerful finish?

Any info would be appreciated. Never thought I would see someone tap to a straight armlock from the guard!

Thanks.

Thank you for your interest in my nano nuclearonic cyborg summoning straight arm lock.

The main key to getting the torque is to walk their arm as far away from their body and as high above their head as possible. That is, the more their wrist is above the line of the top of their head, the better. Then I'm hyper extending the elbow up on an arc towards their head, while pushing the wrist an on opposite arc towards their legs.

The key is the arcing angle of attack; not just lifitng the elbow "up" and not just pushing the wrist "down". Think instead of a crestent moon like arc lifting the elbow towards their head, and a cresten moon arc twisting the wrist towards their feet

And again putting their elbow in the crook of my elbow and flexing my bicep around it creates a much tighter lock with much less room for the elbow to slip out of place.

Or I think that's what I do anyways, half the time I'm fuckin drunk and dunno bro. But yeah, have fun with it!!!!

thanx 4 U're suport BUT wE do prefur it as VAMPYRE ete like wallachia etc NOT TWLIGJT, as the Japanese like my training partner etc DEEP jwmma partner would pronounce as ARUCARD instead of ALUCARD,clad temped, the disease carrier etc, like on mY forth trip to jpn 4 kudo temple etx with biolocigaly-mechanics.

liek a 76% real fight WEAR eye DIDnt no how Long the fiGHT WAS 4 THE CHANCE 2 do RARE SPIRALS THUMB LOCK on TUF Indonesia 1/4-finalist with "scary terry" 312 lbs and iceman + mike f. etc hecklikng frum the sidelines etc

My eyes just flat out refused to read that jumble of letters. Sweet rare and biomechanic video though.

No problem, thanks for the detailed response! :icon_chee I plan to drill this technique among others with a friend soon. I'll let you know if I have any success with it. Oh, the wonders of the internet.

Good technique. VERY odd pictures. The selfie? Is this Tinder?

Kpoz I wonder if your Kimura works in a similar way to the monoplata?

I dunno wat that is some butt flopping move by old man karlos Gracie jr or some ibjjf with floresebt lighting and sweaty brasilians that goes against my Eco-mechibcally

Kpoz I wonder if your Kimura works in a similar way to the monoplata?

So how does that thing work?

Yeah, that's the idea. Rotation and separation of the joint from the rest of the body+hypertension is the key for me, whereas most kimuras are traditionally only shown with an emphasis on either or.

Kpoz thought you might like this, I think it demonstrates your kimura to armlock transition very well

Nice! Yes! Exactly! ...not as good as me myself, but yeah that's the sheit! thanks!
