Any1 feel let down by Doom?

I loved it, but hated some of the platforming aspects. It really took me out of the flow of the game.

I figured out the issue of this game. The FOV is too small but that can be changed in the settings and consoles can do this too.

I'm really liking it now.

I expected more of horrorish Dead Space atmosphere rather than Serious Sam.

I had a chance to play it at friend place. Stopped after 20 minutes.

But anyway guys, If you think Dead Space was scary then give a try to Alien Isolation.

Hands fucking down to Sega for that game.

i was let down that it wasnt expended on with more single player expansions

I had really low expectations for the game, so I ended up being blown away.

Honestly,i feel like this is the right move. Doom and other ID sofware games were always kind of the Mortal Kombat of FPS anyway. If you give me a franchise,my first inclination would be to try to go a more serious route with it...but when i played Doom 3 i thought they kinda blew it. They tried to do it,and it just didnt really work for me,i couldnt find myself being sucked into this atmosphere. This new one seems much more "honest" if that makes sense. Leave the seriousness to the countless other FPS that can do that just fine. I kind of like this guy is a real homicidal angry sadist. Thats what made Kratos so cool.
