I watched one tow truck driver video on Youtube as it was on my front page...

Two hours of watching tow truck videos later...

The pay better be good. They put up with more shit than cops do. Probably a more dangerous profession

damn its like the guy rolled into a refugee camp in fucking somalia

Lol. I did something similar yesterday. Watched one stolen valor video and then ended up wasting the next hour watching a bunch more.

I drove a wrecker for about six months...I hated it. What was worse, I took a part-time job working as a "sticker man" for a towing company - I'd work off a list of apartment complexes we had contracts with in Houston, going around on foot stickering abandoned cars and cars with inspection/registration stickers out of date...total racket for the company and of course, the residents would hate the fuck out of you.

I learned real quick to go to any complexes in the 'hood early, before 10-11 as most people there are still sleeping - Haverstock Hills (google it, that place is beyond a shithole) was one of the worst. I had several incidents which the video in the OP reminded me of - one at a smaller complex I had about 20 people come out after one of the residents started shouting "the tow man here!" - I was tagging a car on a damn jack that looked like it had been sitting there for weeks (the apartments don't want kids to play and get crushed under shit like that and they'd call us out to tag the vehicle for one of our trucks to come and tow it) and this idiot gets everybody riled-up...got on the phone and was calling his homeboy telling him "They fixin' to tow yo shit, man!" I'm surrounded by these people looking at me with hate like I'm some alien, another guy gets on his phone and is telling his partner to get over here as again, the tow man is there to tow his shit...I explained as I was writing the plate number and such down that I didn't even have a wrecker on premises, but no, these people didn't even get it. There was even an 80-something year old lady with her oxygen tank watching the show...I stickered that car and made my way through the crowd expecting to get jumped lmfao That was the worst fucking job I've ever had.

I drove a wrecker and service trucks in the 70s. We didn't have many of those types of tows. When we did, the police were there. The city has less than 1% black population and not many idiots back then so there were never any problems.

We did more cold weather starting than anything. I got a call at a mall at 10am on black Friday to jump start a car that the driver left the lights on. I got that one started and had people coming up to get their car started. I started over 40 cars before I left there.

On the -30 days we often had to tow the cars in to get them started.

I miss that show where the two big dudes would come to repossess your car, but you give you the chance to win it back by answering questions.

Lol at calling tow truck drivers professionals.

Truckers love lot lizards.

I had watched them go in and out of other trucks for a while, cum dripping down their legs.
“Only ever saw a couple…both times they knocked I had been sitting up front smoking and watching Netflix so I had watched them go in and out of other trucks for a while, cum dripping down their legs. So if that isn’t enough to make you vomit and say no (and it was for me). they were old and toothless so not just no…Hell, no!”
