I read on Bas website that you should breathe through your nose and out your mouth, but when you breathe, you should breathe through your belly and not your chest which will make more room for the lungs. Does anybody follow these same breathing habbits. I tried it before, but always reverted back to the old ways of breathing. If you do this type of breathing, how did you incorporate this as your natural habit?

I guess it doesn't matter how you breathe (in nose out mouth) as long as you keep you chin tucked in and tight. You don't want to get rocked in the jaw when it's up and slack.

Try doing wind sprints with a mouth piece in. Or run long distance, with sprint intervals, with a mouth piece and see if you can keep it up. The breathing into your stomach, I mean.

Dedicado...great info. I will try that.

This type of breathing seems difficult to start doing in the middle of a fight. It definitely would need to be learned.
