Any sherdogger plumbers that have experience with oil heating systems? Looking to see what a “good” price is on a specific boiler.

Sorry I don’t have any plumbing knowledge, but I have a plumber-level butt crack when I wear my faded old jeans.

I'm a fan of external on demand water heaters. No need to have a hot water store so more efficient. A consumer can plum them in to pretty much if they aren't connected to a gas grid.

They have a flow rate, that's what you pay for. If you want to run a bath at the same time as the dishwasher you might need two in parallel.

Energy Kinetics is what is current. It’s old and some aspects of it can use repair thus thinking of replacing entire unit.

You need to establish a budget...the range in brand and efficiency is vast...
I have this setup, most customers I work with like these units..

Thanks. Im looking for something that’s going to have a long warranty and high efficiency given I cannot switch to natural gas. I was quoted ~9,800 excluding tax to get a new energy kinetics unit. Seemed high.

looks like a quality unit, I just poked around..number might be a little stiff, but much of it depends on the install, not just the unit..new piping, new pumps and Valves, spirovents etc..Or is the install going to be a straight swap? Copper and plumbing part prices in general are crazy these days..

Yeah, would be a direct swap but they’d stick new valves in to replace all this old stuff that’s been springing leaks over past few years. Appreciate the response. Going to look into brand you posted.
