Any news on Shootboxing's 2014 S-Cup?

Is Shootboxing an active promotion or just once a year?

I never hear about it until the end of the year, and looking at the fighters it seems they just call up some totally random names and ask them if they want to participate.

The S-Cup is only every other year and that's when you see a big mix fighters. They also do a female version.

They do run regular events throughout the year with mostly just Japanese fighters. Kind of hard to follow because there isn't much access to the fights so I'm not sure how consistent they are.

andyjeezy can chime in.

Shootboxing runs about 6 shows a year and they have been around since the 1980's. The S-Cup happens every 2 years and was a 70kg tournament until this year they changed it to 65kg. This tournament here is rock solid and I would like to watch it live somehow.

SB has many tournaments:

- S-Cup (every 2 years since 1995, had champs like Souwer and Buakaw)
- S-Cup 65 kg (only 2013, Hiroaki Suzuki won)
- Girls S-Cup (almost every year since 2009, RENA won the tourney 4 times)
- Girls S-Cup 53,5 kg (since 2012, Mizuki Inoue won 2 times)
- Girls S-Cup JKS48 (since 2012 every year)

So Pornsaneh is fighting last years winner who happens to be a natural 65 kilogram fighter?

Damn, he's going to get his ass kicked hard.

Alright I just saw a highlight of Suzuki. Seems to have decent hands, which will probably do in Pornsaneh.

Also noticed he fights a lot of MMA fighters. Ishida, Hansen, Omigawa, Wicky Akiyo, Lion Takeshi etc... Has he beaten any notable non-Japanese kickboxers?

Kaew Fairtex shold just fight in any 65 kg tournament lol He is a pretty big name in Japan right now.

found them.
