Kinda curious to hear what's going on with him. With Charles Jourdain fighting this weekend, it has me wondering what's next for the Korean Superboy. Was exciting prospect who's hype seems non existent after the loss.

Thoughts on what's next for him?

he might be finished at this point. He has took an insane amount of damage in the last 3 fights. Destroyed by swanson and brutally finished by stephens and jourdain. His chin is gone.
 
I remember there was a guy going around here citing Choi's finishes of Sam Sicilia and Puig as proof he was a defensive mastermind in comparison to Conor. He especifically said "Look a Choi's counters, he does not let his opponent even come close to landing on him. Now look at Conor, an unconscious Aldo still managed to touch him - Choi wouldn't let that happen".

Then the Swanson fight happened and all of his flaws got exposed, the hypetrain derailed and finally buried by Stephens. It was glorious.
 
he'll probably go on hiatus for his military service soon, KZ came back from that looking improved, hopefully choi can do the same.
 
The Jourdain loss was a bad one — Jourdain is really nothing special. Choi could end up having a KZ type of revival but I have lost all confidence in him now. KZ did also establish himself as one of the best in the world before he went away. Choi is not even ranked.
 
Hopefully Choi can come back and give some fun fights, he isn't super well rounded but he can crack and give us some good highlight reel kos.

His wrist was completely broken in the 1st round it's a wonder he even made it to the 3rd round against Jourdain

He's a good fighter but injuries and time off has been a big part of his career unfortunately. I don't think the Swanson loss was really that bad considering where he was at his career, but then losing in similar fashion to Stephens and now Jourdain and with military service it's hard to expect him to really become a part of the elite in the division. I hope it happens and it could, but it will be very hard. At the very least he is an exciting fighter and hopefully can stick around for a while.
 
He’s in the delayed entry program for his military service. He’s trying to get a cushy job, and there’s a long waiting list. Too many company presidents and CEOs with sons in line ahead of him. While waiting he can’t leave Korea.
 
He's had some bad luck but the chin is not gone.

Youre only as good as your last fight, as Cody just showed. DHC will be back fully healed and back on track
 
Totally forgot about him. Dude absorbed some damage in the cub fight but dished some out as well and kept going. Had some good wins and lost some barn burners.
