I have the basics and some advanced stuff down but I want to be able to more of the advanced techniques. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks my man. I have those things down (criss cross and double unders). I want to do what I see RJJ and PBF doing in their workout videos. I just don't know the name of the actual move to look it up.

another jump rope video

edit: LOL i forgot to post the URL and now i've lost it..

when I was in 6th grade I joined the skipping club (think girls doing double dutch) and I learned sooo many different ways to jump rope, its really amazing how many different things you can do with a jump rope.

Are your criss crosses smooth? like could you do them every other jump?
I always screw them up because i dont cross the handles at the right spot and i'm not sure where in front of you you're supposed to cross them, it's hard as hell to test it too since you have a habbit of wanting to keep the handles straight
When do you start to cross them?

Yeah, it took me a few days of practicing recently to get them smooth. You cross at the elbows. The best thing to do is to practice your swinging your arms as you would but without jumproping. Try it a few times to get the motion down and then add in the rope. It is much easier then it seems.

i was almost POSITIVE this was a joke thread...but there are actually instructionals on jumping rope??...im sorry but that seems retarded...maybe thats cuz i cant even jump rope regularly tho

Skipping is great for footwork and cardio. I don't see why that's retarded. People have got to learn how to do things somehow.
