I know I saw him walk Shane down but who else has he had back up by standing still in the middle of the ring? I check HL of his fights with Marcos and Hatton but both those fights his backs up and trys to catch rhem coming in. With JMM he fought from the outside alot and used his reach even though he was bigger and probly could have just bully him around.

He walked Judah down for most of their fight. After the first few rounds in their fight, he walked Genaro Hernandez down. He more or less brawled with Chop Chop. He did fight with Hatton on the inside a fair amount after the first few rounds. The Chavez fight is another one where there was a lot of action on the inside. There was some good work on the inside in the Cotto fight from both guys.

Joking with the pics, but I think you can find plenty. Floyd was (is) extremely skilled and gifted and picks his spots to avoid taking damage, but you can likely find examples of him backing up an opponent in any bout you watch.

after about round 7 or 8 he was essentially walking down Robert Guerrero. if his hands weren't so brittle he would have got the finish. he was landing at will toward the end of the fight.

Floyd did pretty much anything he wanted against Henry Bruseles, even spoke w Lampley and Merchant during while fighting, there were some momemts where Floyd ripped the body at while inside

I think like rounds 6 through 8 against Genaro Hernandez showed some of this, entertaining few rounds nonetheless

He generally comes out pretty aggressive against southpaws. I seem to recall him backing up Ortiz but not really on the inside. There were times when he had Cotto on the retreat with the inside stuff.

He did here and there but not though the whole fight. I believe that was where a lot of the "canelo has poor conditioning" talk originated.

He completely neutered Zab Judah with right uppercuts to the body followed with lefts to the head, and made Zab back out an reset.

he fought off the back foot and countered for most of the fight, but he did put it on canelo a couple of times.
