Any Bjj folks ever done a Sambo/Combat Sambo tournament?

I'm curious about how the rules work and how similar they are to Bjj/Submission grappling rules for both Freestyle Sambo and Combat Sambo events. I don't know much about either sport, but I was watching some matches and it looks pretty cool.

Any experiences that you would have to share about this I would be interested in hearing about. Especially as pertains to competitions in the US.

I have, and i liked it a lot.....the turnout was MUCH smaller then a naga or anything, so things will get done quicker but there will be much much less people to fight. That is the only negative thing(if you see it as a negative thing), everything else is really cool.
