If Glover wins this, he should get a TS.'
Or atleast a number one contender fight between him and the winner of Jan/Corey.
Damn. Solid. Thanks TS.
Johnson v Dunham too.
I don't get it. He beat Gus in his last fight. That's a step down.. Unless all of the other guys are booked?
Didn’t Smith callout Corey Anderson? Weirdly enough, I like that matchup.
Yea, Corey Anderson would make the most sense if we look at the top 10.
1) Thiago Santos
2) Daniel Cormier
3. Anthony Smith
4. Dominick Reyes
5) Corey Anderson
6) Jan Blachowicz
7) Alexander Gustafsson
8) Volkan Oezdemir
9) Glover Teixeira
10) Aleksandar Rakic
Santos is injured.
DC isn't fighting at LHW anymore.
Reyes is booked against Jones.
That leaves Anderson and Blachowicz. Both make more sense than Teixera.
A Smith Vs Santos rematch at LHW would have been perfect.
I got Lionheart by KO round 1.
Reason he wasn't booked against Anderson or Blachowicz was because either fight could eliminate a fresh contender. Both Glover and Lionheart have already fought Jones for the belt.
good fight, but it doesnt mean nothing for the division. smith got outclassed by jones and teixiera got mauled.
I'm one of the 2 people on here who's still an Anthony Smith fan lol, so I'm pumped for this.
Smith put on such a terrible fight that they have to keep him far away from the title for a while. No contender matchups for him.
Smith said he wanted this fight last time he was interviewed and Glover deserves another chance to climb the ranks after beating 3 dangerous prospects (Roberson, Cutelaba, and Krylov) in a row.
This is solid matchmaking by the UFC.
i thought glover vs the rizin champ was the right move.
Glover is one tough old ass son of a gun and on a three fight win streak.. Hmmm Definitely getting up there in mileage though.. interesting.
Maybe. Which shows how thin this division is on contenders.
