I see what MMA fighters are doing. I don't care about pure grappling, but I applaud UFC fighters using a UFC loophole to promote themselves and make some extra money. If you love grappling, then please support the fighters, and buy a ticket. They deserve every last cent you send their way. They really do.

Its kind of weird, Id probably say Masvidal is the better wrestler (mainly defensive wrestling), and Pettis the better BJJ player but maybe we'll see who really is the superior overall grappler here.

No back story at all, Pettis & Masvidal are actually cordial and somewhat friends with each other. In a interview I think Masvidal even called Pettis about the fight with Askren. Pettis supposedly said that Beef is between Askren and Masvidal. Nothing to do with Pettis.

Exactly. Which to me is the opposite of a charity event. Of course you pay the expenses of the fighters etc. Travel, hotel, food etc. Those expenses come off the top, as they should. But, pretty much everything else including any actual pay to fighters etc, should be non-existent. When you volunteer for a charity. You don’t get “paid”.
