WOW! Anthony Pettis put on a striking clinic in his WEC bout against the always tough Shane Roller? Amazing shit, yes? Spinning kicks, flying kicks, punches from every angle. And all against a top level wrestler, eh? Wheres all those guys who adamately deny that those techniques can work in MMA? This is the future of MMA...and its here now!

He was impressive, but he did take some heavy punches himself and was hurt a couple of times. He did land one of those Saenchei esque capoeira kicks, although it looked even crazier. I am definitely interested in seeing him fight ben henderson especially considering he has vastly improved his TD defense.

Taekwondo black belt, 3rd dan, owns a TKD gym. But don't say that outloud, the lynching crowd will show up. :icon_neut

Pettis looked like the better wrestler and looked like he had the better ground game and striking.

In short, Pettis outclassed Roller in all aspects.
