Cliffs: Woman pushed man into the subway tracks for no reason. Man dies. As a daily train rider in NYC this is one of my biggest fears. Theres hundreds of people waiting on line for the train at every single stop. If you dont wait in the front, chances are you will not get on the train. Pretty much anybody can just push you as the train comes. http://news.yahoo.com/man-pushed-death-ny-city-subway-tracks-234656114.html
7 is the one going to Queens? If so, that's the one I take all the time when I visit family. Also, I've always been paranoid waiting for a subway. It's simple to fall even by yourself if you don't mind your surroundings. I take it's way easier if someone just pushes you. Scary shit.
The worst is going to junction boulevard and woodside 7-8am. Those fucking assholes shove and shit Id just pay the $200 for the lirr when I lived in queens
I was there in NY 2 years ago for Thanksgiving. The Macy's parade was one of the most epic days of my life. It felt like a movie with all the big balloons and the streets being blocked off for pedestrians. Then my aunt ordered chinese food somewhere in Flushing and that was pretty great. I looked at the menu and it was close to $20 per dish. Is that the norm in Flushing or did my aunt just choose an expensive restaurant? Over here in So Cal, it's about $8 - $10 per dish.
lets ban trains now too i mean, it is crazy people walking the streets that is the real problem. but lets walk around with our heads up our asses
You mean takeout Chinese food? I think its the same everywhere, around $5 lunch specials for General Tso's and fried rice and soup and soda?
Yeah it was take out but with seafood. I could've sworn noodles was also around $15. Then she took the train back to the condo and we all ate. You New Yorkers are crazy and disciplined. She had to carry the food on the train and then walk several blocks. Over here we're spoiled, we just drive where ever we go. I like the culture over though, people seemed to have less first world problems than So Cal.
