that's exactly the sort of out-of-touch propaganda that people are attacking gays when in reality 80% of americans are ok w gay marriage, myself included.

they're now asking kids in schools what their "gender identify" is and putting all sorts of weird ideas into their heads.

If you read through the posts, you will see that one guy was using the example of the Riddler and Penguin being gay characters in the show Gotahm, which offended him, and I was responding that having gay villains is not new, and that it is very common since the 1940's to connect gay characteristics with villains, but that having a gay hero is something new. You say it is being shoved down people's throats every 5 minutes, but I don't get where you are coming from, as I don't think there are many gay characters in mainstream TV and movies. And my kids are in school and literally nobody is asking them about their gender identity, who is "they" exactly? I'm much more concerned about my boy seeing Trump cheating on and disrespecting his wife with porn stars and playmates.

They are all iconic significant others. Far more iconic than any of Batwoman's gf's (which I can't even name).
Betty Ross and Jane Foster have been in 4 MCU movies and have been the most important significant others to Hulk and Thor for nearly 60 years. Any comic book fan would know those answers.

It's not much different then what happened to black people in movies and on tv in the 60's - 70's when we saw more characters and more screen time for them and nothing bad happened to the world.

With or without the LBGQT stuff, it doesn't matter. This show is a fucking fail on every level. The chick that plays Batwoman is an abysmal actress. Just totally dead delivery, with zero charisma.

With just having seen the previews I wouldn't even be able to try this show because the villain looks so incredibly stupid. How am I supposed to take that skinny chick with knives seriously?
