So its the holidays and I am getting a new GI. I am looking for a durable gi. I don't want to spend over $200.00.

I am looking for somthing that is cut for wider guys. 5-10 190-210lbs. I want a durable gi that is comfortable (not light gis/summer weave). If possible I would want a bungee draw string for the pants like showyaroll but that gi is really not cut for me and are too light for my tastes.

Any Ideas.

Thanks in advance

well considering we have the same stats, and looking for a bungee cord is going to limit your choices, i would suggest getting the Insignia by Ronin Brand . IF you check the Gear & Equipment sections they have tons of reviews on Gi's and for price and durability i suggest that one .

The other option i would suggest is a Predator by Black Eagle. They are now sold through Budovideos and are fairly cheap .

Another great option os to get a Break Point Standard Lightweight , they are cut for big guys ( i wear an A3 normally and the one i got was kinda too roomy for the cut. ) , but the interesting thing is the drawstring system they implement, its very unique.

i've had a blue gold weave for over two years and it's still in amazing shape. love the durable feel, they have the best gi pants i've ever felt and the customer service is amazing. plus the prices are way more than reasonable.

Fuji single weave BJJ cut, they are priced like a single weave, you can buy 2 for less than $140.

If you want cheap and durable, Ronin or FUJI double weave judo cut.

I agree. Especially with guys who are muscular or stocky. My gold weave is so soft.

i thought the howard combats were a good bang for the buck, although mine seemed heavy.
