Is anyone else a little blown away by how many people are counting Dos Santos out? I mean yeah Cain came back a much stronger fighter in the second fight but I mean, wouldn't you think Junior would do the same as well? I personally don't have a pick or a favorite for this fight, but at the same time I can't help but notice the lack of faith in Junior. In my opinion, they are both just as good as the other in different ways as I am sure most would agree.
I don't know I am just stoner ranting.

im more blown away by the sherdog poll being almost 50/50. Cain is the prohibitive favorite and rightly so.

There was a whole thread dedicated to JDS supporters yesterday. A lot of people are picking him to win

It is stupid to ignore Dos Santos' chances, i don't know why so many people that are picking Cain thinks he's got this one in the bag.

Cain has flaws rushing in like that with his chin up, and we know Junior hits hard enough to knock him out... If JDS is on a good night and improved his attacks while back/side-stepping, it is night-night Velasquez.

I also hope JDS' coaches see that Junior has the tendency of walking backwards till he hits the cage to start circling around, that can be a huge mistake against someone like Cain, i hope they worked on that cuz he did the same against Hunt and got tagged. Gotta try to circle around more than just going backwards, before his back hits the cage.

I don't know just from what I've seen it looks like a vast majority of the fight community believe Cain will win and I think Junior should be given a little more credit since he's just as good. Like i said before, this fight is an absolute toss up in my opinion. I feel like both fighters have worked very hard on improving their game. So in conclusion I feel as though Junior will come back a lot stronger, and make this one HELL of a fight.

Exactly I feel as though Junior saw what he was doing wrong and fixed it. I think we'll see strong take down defense and hopefully more side stepping as you said. He won't get anywhere backing up especially since Cain will just follow him right to the cage, tagging him most of the way.

In the first fight all interviewed pros picked Cain, except for Nelson.

I think the majority of the pros picked him each time, if I recall correctly.

IMHO, Junior has one way to win this fight. By knockout. He's not going to win a war of attrition with Cain. The longer the fight goes, the more it benefits Cain. This hasn't changed from their last meeting. It's just as true as it was when they first fought in 2011. Junior has to win the fight within the first 10 minutes. His chances greatly diminish once we enter the 3rd round. Cain is unnatural. Men that size shouldn't be able to keep their foot on the gas pedal.

The HW division is crazy. All of these large guys hit hard. Anybody in the top 5 is capable of beating the other on any given night. But in reality, the only chance that these guys have (Including Junior) is a punchers chance. That's it.

I agree with everything said, but also I feel as though Cain's best chance at winning is by decision , while it is just as likely that Junior could knock him out within the first couple of frames. Not saying Cain won't knock him out, that's just how I feel.

Whoever lands the first big punch wins.
It's either guy's fight until that point.

Opinion's are what keep this place interesting. If we all thought the same, we'd get bored here, quickly.

Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and most of the time they stink, but damn do they make interesting noises.

How do you figure? I think you might be selling JDS a little short here, my friend.
