I'm getting older and young people tell me I'm angry all the time. I'm not even 40 yet, and I don't think I'm angry all the time. But what is it? Is the younger generation raised to think life is all clouds and roses?

Are older people inherently angrier?

They say once you hit 40, that'll be your attitude and personality for the rest of your life.

As long as you aren't rude , you'll be fine.

What's up with all these old people threads? Sherdog's getting senile

I've noticed this. Not necessarily people getting angrier as they get older, but definitely more bitter and less optimistic. They themselves oftentimes call it getting more "realistic", and they might have a point.

Personally I think I've become more mellow as time goes by, I probably couldn't even get carded at Sherdog if I tried.

Same, outside of my profession (high stress, heavy work load) I have relaxed a lot, although I am very cynical compared to when I was in my 20’s, maybe the angry ones are relatively poor?

I’ve always been described as easy going, and i seem to be even more relaxed now that i’m in my 50s. Honestly, nothing stresses me out. It pisses my wife off sometimes. Lol.
