she got the boot after dropping fights to tecia and rose, two of the best in the division, but she's rattled off some nice wins since, and she's now claimed a belt in invicta, which has to do wonders for her confidence.

Anyone think she deserves another chance in the ufc?

She definitely deserves another shot, 3-0 and an Invicta title after her release. But I think she would greatly benefit from 2-3 more fights in Invicta.

well said. another big test or two would great - especially if she passes those tests.

Yeah, she also expressed feeling more respected and needed there.

Losing to two top 5 fighters shouldn't warrant you getting cut from the promotion. Rose and Tecia are fantastic fighters. She never really had a chance to fight the lower tier outside of Kagan. Glad she's doing well in Invicta though. Good chance to grow.

The Invicta title makes Hill around the 20th best fighter in her UFC division ...

She looked real good last night on her feet and fighting to get to her feet. Her punches were sharp & crisp and her cardio on point most deserving of another run...

Not yet, I don't think she was cut because she isn't good enough I think she got cut so she could pad her record and get some experience, her record would be ruined if she kept losing to the top girls just because she's inexperenced, after 1 or 2 title defenses.

Why would the UFC have her back? She's been throwing passive aggressive jabs at the UFC since her release when in reality the UFC gave her big opportunities to advance her career and she only had herself to blame for failing badly. If she loves the care Invicta has for its fighters so much, she should stay in Invicta and keep making that sub-10k show/win with that awesome non-Reebok sponsorship.

UFC mishandled her, her strength of schedule made little to no sense with her MMA exp. level.

Rather she stay in Invicta for longer. I don't think she's keeping that title for long. Grasso taking that belt

Her management shares some blame. Should've probably told the UFC they were looking to gain some experience at the lower end first, which is perfectly understandable given she had like 1 fight going in

She most certainly deserves another shot in the UFC, IMO. But, Invicta is a good place for her. She was raw and green when she was on TUF and early in the UFC. She was a rookie going against world beaters. Invicta gets her that much needed experience. She is clearly improving. I say let her improve a little more. But for sure, unless she gets seriously derailed in Invicta, she should be in the UFC again in the near future.

Angela has already had 3 fights after getting released by the UFC? Damn, seems like she was released only a few months ago.

For sure, let her defend a couple times and continue to develop her ground game.

In the UFC she seemed to pretty much roll over and quit when it hit the ground. Either there is a lot bigger difference between the UFC and Invicta than I thought or she's improved quite a bit. If she can learn some bjj offense to go with defending, she could be a player.

She's shown a lot of improvements since moving to alliance. She is still very much a work in progress, though.

Not yet. She got rushed into the UFC because they needed to fill out the SW roster. She should've been developing through Invicta all along. She's one of the very few SWs that can finish a lot of fights standing, but she needs more time to shore up her TDD and ground defense before throwing her back into the UFC.

I like Angie. But like others have said I think her current time in Invicta is the best thing for her career going forward. Let her pick up a few more wins, get some more experience, and I'm sure we'll see her back in the UFC again.
