Look - I’ll be the first to admit the Lee/Murphy fight was a boring WMMA sparring session glorified but Lee clearly won at least 2/3 rounds and I’d struggle to give Murphy one. I’d say it was a fairly clear 30-27 win for Andrea. That was robbery of the night.

Anyone who’s been watching the fight game and is relatively unbiased will tell you that Reyes was losing that fight if it went to the score cards. Historically, you have to really beat the champion in order to get that belt and like Hendricks/GSP, Gustafsson or like any of Benson Henderson’s opponents learned, you have to win convincingly. It wasn’t a robbery, it was a very close fight that could have gone either way and was given to a champion. We’ve seen it before, it’s not new.

I would have been significantly more angry if i was a part of Andrea’s team versus Reyes’.

Am I crazy for thinking take downs that just stall and do absolutely zero damage should be scored against you or not at all?

If damage is most important.. Taking someone down to avoid damage, getting controlled on the ground unable to deal your own damage, stalling as long as possible to stop any damage either way, then ending up in the original place you wasted a ton of energy trying to avoid is not "octagon control".

Andrea wasn't robbed starting to see she's more looks than fighting and I need to stop looking at how cute she is and pick her based on her fighting which is starting to show major holes, her camp can't see she don't move her head at all? She fights like her neck is in a brace it's always there to be hit, move your head and shoulders girl go dancing get some rhythm learn to groove & move it will aide your fighting. Just from last night Murphy and Jones apparently edged close fights with takedowns with zero damage.

The ppl saying Latifi should have won are the most deluded. Dude literally spent the entire fight (out side a few leg kicks) grabbing double under hooks and stalling anytime beast went for damage, then getting a weak zero damage td and stalling with zero damage pit pats, then losing position and taking damage again. If your entire m.o. is "positional dominance" and you are trying to win by barely doing anything but making them do even less... I would seriously score one meaningful blow landing over that eye cancer.

My cousin has been fanatically watching 4 years longer than me (I started around 06) and said Latifi "dominated". Yikes.

Not really. There was like a 3 year period where my friends and I would DVR the fights so we could fast forward obvious Lay n Pray fights while monotonously repeating "Greg Jackson" until there was action. These were the years culminating up to Dana claiming Greg was a "sport killer". My friends and I were like "Yeah fam. We know."

as i have said, if the jones fight was judged under pride rules, jones would have won, without any controversy. why? cause winning the last 2 rounds has more weight, than winning the first 3. Cause how you end a fight, should count more than how you start it...it goes to your toughness and endurance.

I had Reyes, winning 1,2 and 3 and Jones 4 and 5 but I did put an asteriks beside round 2 thinking Jones could have won that round as well. I thought Reyes won but it wasn't a robbery, it was close and even Jones coach told him it may come down to the 5th round. I had Reyes winning but it could have gone either way, I thought the 49-46 was way off as moving forward when you are getting hit more should not win you a round.

I would have stood them up and taken a point for timidity if he tried that crap again.

No stand ups or separation only works with no time limits. Latifi spent a meaningful amount of his energy and a good portion of the "fight" literally hugging beast with all his might.. That is not "effective" anything except maybe effective stalling. Dude fought scared and got beat up. Not a hard fight to score in the slightest imo
