BIIIIIG bummer!!!

I was really looking forward to see the guy in action, I thought he would definitely be part of the show! Why do you think he wasnt admitted? Fear that he would steal the show?

Probably because he got KTFO in his last fight. Also, isn't this old news?

1.- TUF is first and foremost a reality show, so there are things besides skill to be taken into account. Galvao its not very marketeable in that sense.

2.- Kind of a pussy move to be on one of the biggest orgs and then try to go to beat amateurs at a reality show.

Want to be in the UFC then start beating people at SF like Jake Shields.

Second, he has already had fights on one of the biggest shows out there. That being said... Joe Lauzon had already had a fight in the UFC and he was still on the show. That might be because of the drama involved with having a coach whom he already beat.

If Andre had made it, I would def watch it. Sucks he didnt. Hopefully his school does well and eventually get a shot in the UFC besides going through some dumb tv show. I still support him either way.

they also are not doing the elimination to get into the house this year

so no 32 guys, only 16 from start

:(

I wasn't aware of that, pretty lame. I guess the coaches can only go on past fight tape of the fighters to pick them for their team? I wonder why this is changing.

They usually put them through some vigorous training regiment to see what they were made of which I think works a little better than the guy who happens to get a lucky knockout to get in the house. But then again a lucky knockout can progress you in the show much less get you a title belt.

I recall Breen saying on his show that Galvao said he was on the next season pending the results of his English Exam. I guess he didn't pass the TOEFL.

My "biggest bummer" is that since there won't be middleweights Karl Amoussou won't be on the show. He would have been sooooooo fun to watch...

conspiracy theories say more brock time or they have people they want to be in the house

before fighting to get on the show you had people who did not want to fight getting on the show

now, this may be better for fight quality, but there may be some goofballs/drama queens that didn't make it

i guess people like junie are better than people like galvao
:icon_cry2

Ther actually wont be any contestants on this season of TUF. It will just be an hour a week of Brock Lesnar doing whatever he wants on tv.

actually I think there only doing 14 with the losers having a shot at coming back.

Maybe he failed the grappling component like Rhadi Ferguson...

probably because Dana wouldnt want to take the risk to have to market a SF rejected...
