Eh, as far as I remember, he had started his UFC career beating the shit out of Brookins and Sass...

Before they've dragged it to the ground.

Then same thing had happened against Madadi and Elkins.

He's pretty much the same fighter, he got much better in the standup, but it doesn't seem like he had fixed many holes in the grappling.
