Andrade's striking is over rated

Who did she outstrike?

1. Awful can level striker Jessica Penne.
2. Mediocre backs up in straight lines until her ass hits the cage Angela Hill.
3. And sloppy Karolina who consented to a brawl.

She was losing versus Calderwood and Torres until the TD. Gadelha outclassed her on the feet until she got beat up on the ground and gassed, as is tradition. JJ tooled her for five rounds in a 50-44 decision. Andrade needs to rely on her grappling to beat the best strikers in the division. Rose is too fast, rangey and technical to get caught by Jessica.

Chances are she ragdolls Rose, but she aint out striking her.
 
No one said she is Sugar ray Leonard. It's just that She is a brawler who carries some power in her punches. So when she connects usually she gets the finishes. It's effective. That's it.

I don't think anyone has ever rated her actual striking skill. But she get's props for being aggressive and coming forward. It worked for Wanderlei.

There're many ways to out-strike people. You can do it via superior technical skill, or you can prime Bob Sapp it via more power and more durability. Wandrade is clearly the latter.

Rose's problem is cardio, cus Andrade won't slow down and Rose has history gassing out.Rose'e best rounds are mainly first rounds.
 
I think that technically, she's mediocre, but the combination of above average speed and Wand-style hooks is very effective in WMMA.

Would love to see her rematch Calderwood, now that she seems to be putting it together, and see how that goes. I think that Rose can outpoint her from teh bicycle, but I'm interested in seeing her really get worked, with knees, lowkicks and elbows. Can anyone break her? Or does everyone have to 'manage' her power to a point DEC?
 
So? It’s mma. She doesn’t have to be the best on the feet. There are other ways to get it done.
 
She doesn't have clean technical striking but she definitely hits fucking hard for a woman that size and has the aggression to match.
 
Literally there is not a single thread on her being a great striker yet here we are

She then proceeded to run Karolina over via Ogre Power. That was not so hilarious. Physical mismatch.
