    No source.

Anderson said he wants to fight at UFC 198. He certainly can after tonight since he took very little damage.

On the other hand, Bisping will most likely be out 6 months or more. No way he comes back beforehand.

I agree that Bisping won as per the rules. I'm frustrated at Anderson more than anything. But under any other ruleset, Anderson was the winner tonight hands down (pun intended).

Every fighting legend fades toward the end of their career. Chuck, Big Nog, etc. But it would be surreal and hilarious if, unlike those guys, Anderson keeps dropping fights like tonight (losing while still beating the snot out of his opponents).

    3-16-16 update

    And it's official.

Michael Bisping: suspended 180 days or until cleared with head CT scan, as well as suspended 44 days with 30 days of no contact

Anderson Silva: suspended 30 days with 21 days no contact

A bout between Silva and Hall is targeted for UFC 198 on May 14 in Brazil, sources told MMA Fighting.

Main reason I'm cheesed about this decision is it fucks up Andersons title shot lol

But with a convincing win in May, I'm all for it again. Let him merk Tim Kennedy or be ready to step in if weidman/rockhold/jacare/belfort pull out as they all have fights around then

You want to see Anderson fight for the title off of that performance? Even if he'd won?

Yes, Silva needs to fight real fast. Call me crazy but this fight made me believe a bit more in a title shot for him. He really just needs to stop being a fucking weirdo.

Silva needs to fight. I really think his weirdness has to do with cage rust.

Anderson wouldn't have made it out of the first round in PRIDE. Bisping would've finished him with 5 more minutes to work with.

HE GOT DROPPED BY BISPING! Anderson, buddy, don't fight again. It won't be good. His chin started to go after the first Sonnen fight and it's only got worse. He's coming 41. This happens to any champ who stays in the game too long… Anderson has done better than most during his old age, but seriously… Dropped by Bisping. If that isn't the end I don't know what is.

I predict he loses his next fight.

The signs were all there tonight. He hasnt changed his style to compensate for his slower reflexes and we saw him get lit up by Bisping for it. Prime Andy wouldnt be touched by those slow, telegraphed punches. We saw the exact same thing happen with Roy Jones- when his speed and reaction were slowed by a millisecond, he became an easy target. After a few losses, that chin shattered into glass.

We saw Anderson's chin lose several fights' worth of durability in this fight. His next opponent is going to prove its gone. He's too old for this style.

His chin definitely seems to be gone but he is the most entertaining fighter imo. Every one of his fights is awesome and if he really plans to fight in only a couple months that would be great. He doesn't have much longer the sooner the better if he continues.

I will support Anderson until the end, but I can't believe what I'm reading.

What do you think it would have happened in those two rounds if it'd have been Rockhold instead of Bisping?

Now that we've witnessed his reflexes have diminished, I'm not too excited about the idea of a Vitor rematch either.

IMO he should have one more fight in Brazil and call it quits.

I don't know that he'll lose again but I sadly agree overall with your assessment. Which ironically makes his fights more exciting. I'm a big fan but I keep thinking he'll get KO'd at any moment. Fucking nail biting!

Nonetheless, my original point stands. He can fight again while Bisping is no shape to fight anytime soon. Can Bisping win his next fight?
