Anderson was robbed.

Looked like Bisping was done.

He was just rocked badly trying to recover on the stall like anyone would in between rounds...

Hw crumpled Bisping at the end of 3 he rocked him hard in 5. Bisping did nothing, he got a good shot in the first but that was it.

Anderson was robbed. Even the crowd are silent.

your boy was outstruck every round except round 5. not only was bisping the one pressing forward most of round 1 and 2, but he landed more strikes and more significant strikes. he had round 3 in the bag until the whole flying knee at bell occurred, bell saved bisping even if there wasn't controversy there. you boy lost 4. yeah he lost. eat it, enjoy it, stfu.

Silva dropped hard and for a second it looked like the Weidman knockout.

You're saying Bisping got beaten up because his face was a mess...that was caused by one knee. Bisping dropped Silva once and Silva dropped Bisping once. Bisping wobbled Silva once and Silva wobbled Bisping once.
When you look at it like that and then look at the overall business and success that Bisping had it's easy to make a decision.

It wasn't a one-sided affair, but to call Bisping "wobbled" at the end of the third is silly. He was finished and got saved by the bell.

Easy fix

Rematch in Rio

We'll see what happens then

He was rocked but there was no evidenc ehe was "finished". Yeah the bell saved him from a tough spot but that doesn't mean it should automatically be classed as an "almost KO"

Every decision's a robbery on Sherdog.

Jose-Aldo-Hurts-Chad-Mendes-After-the-Bell-UFC-179.gif

I don't have a gif of it but Mendes was just as hurt while recovering from the late round 1 combination in their rematch. He went on to fight 4 more rounds. Bisping went on to fight 2 more and withstood plenty more shots.

I'd say that the decision to not call the fight was a good one it was mostly mass confusion from Anderson's Palhares moment that caused issues tonight.

He sure didn't get up very quickly. He got blasted by a knee and stayed on the ground until his corner helped him up.

Because it was the end of the round, what's the point rushing to your feet?

no he wasnt silva should be cut from the ufc after that performance and i was rooting for him for this fight

he showed little offense during the fight he was only trying the last 20s of each round and did nothing during the end of round 5. he could of ended the fight during round 4 after that upkick to the face bisping was rocked and stumbled backwards while silva just stood there letting him recover. during all of round four bisping was clearly rocked after the rd 3 flying knee silva never pressured to end the fight during the 25 min bout was more focused on showboating and leaning against the fence

i feel silva could of ended the fight at anytime it looked like he was sandbagging and not going 100%

Because a competent ref wouldn't let a fighter as hurt as Bisping be saved by the bell.
What are you on about competent ref? Bisping was fine to continue as he fought 2 hard rounds after he was hurt. A refs job is to make sure the fighter is defending himself at all times... he got to his stool and came out for the next round. You're obviously too emotionally invested in this to think logically.

It wasn't a robbery considering (almost) everyone thinks it's really a best of 5 series where all rounds are equal. It really shows why the 10 point must system is a joke though.

Anderson beat the crap out of Bisping.

I think there's rules about taking that long to make it back to your corner also. The fight should've been stopped, they let Rich Franklin get carried back to his corner so he could continue to fight Andserson... Can't really claim a moral high-ground to boxing and talk about standing 8 counts when they pull that kind of shit.

at the very least the 3rd round should've been a 10-8 round making it a draw. And the 4th was really a 10-10 imo.

48-47 Bisping all day.

Read it and weep, fanboys.

I was rooting for Silva, but he got out-pointed. Plain and simple. He looked great when pressuring but his typical countering game was not working at all and it took him too long to realize it and adjust. The reflexes just aren't there anymore for him to play that game.

He only dropped him in round 1? What about when he really rocked and the dropped him again in round 2? What about when he dominated the entire 3rd round and only got knee'd at the end because he mouthpiece had fallen out? What about the 4th round where he out-landed Silva again?

Yeah Mike did nothing, and Silva is still the GOAT right? Why don't we put Silva in there with Rockhold, he'd smoke Luke right?

Get a grip...
