Anderson wants to fight for fun, Rumble Johnson also said he is open for fun fights

I say let's make it happen. Anderson looked incredible against Derek Brunson. It's almost as if age dosen't affect him. After the fight he also said he wants to have fun whilst fighting.

Let's say if DC pulls out again (very likely) Rumble said last time that he is open to having a fun fight. What better fight as a replacement then Anderson Silva vs Rumble Johnson. Two of the best strikers in mma today. How would this play out? I think it could be a fun fight for the fans and i'm sure both men would be more then happy to fight each other.

it would be a classic aggressive striker vs counter striker match up. Who know what could happen

I love Anderson but at this stage of his career I think he'd get demolished. Heck Rumble fought Andrei Arlovksi at one point in his career, no clue how the guy made WW.
 
Nick RM & Conor fight at 170 sound like safe fair fights

I dont think fighting Rumble would fit the definition of "fun"
 
I'd love to see this fight. I wonder what excuses Silva would make when he wakes up

Silva should fight some exciting fighters in the top 20, then fight 1-2 fights in the top 10 if he wins against the lower competition. That way he ends his career in a respectable way.

I don't know how many years you're thinking of...I don't think he looks great right now. But he is still durable, can fight defensively when he chooses to, and I don't think Rumble would run over him like most people here do. It's the same people who thought the DC fight would finish by GNP in the first round. They just don't understand how skilled AS is.
