Absolutely pitiful performance from Cormier. Absolutely embarrassing. No offense whatsoever.

He maximized his chance to win. I don't know anyone who had high expectations for this fight. DC deserved to get paid. Respect to Anderson for taking this fight on such short notice.

Alvey vs Theodorou a mere 3 weeks ago was MUCH WORSE

Let's not get crazy. The fans made it a lot worse.

Also Silva is partly to blame, for stalling on the ground.

Anderson is skilled on the ground, especially defensively. If you were DC, you'd be crazy to stand with him for extended periods - it's perhaps your opponent's only path to victory.

I figured DC would win utilizing the ground. I just didn't think he'd bitch out once he got there. He didn't fight. Silva did and hurt him. DC fought like he was gassed.

I wonder if DC is still not fully healed from his knee problems a couple of months ago.

Not the worst fight at all but extemely boring and bitchlike from DC. Smart to fight like that but he will lose alot of fans and potential money from that shit

The only thing worse than DC's performance is his fans trying to make him look less terrible.

You should be ashamed of yourselves.

DC was completely correct in the post fight interview. The fight went the way it had to go.

Given the circumstances, I think it worked out best for everyone involved. Cormier had the most to lose, but he got his win. Silva had nothing to lose, but he got paid and he kept respect by hurting Cormier at the end there.

Anyone who expected anything more out of this fight wasn't being realistic.

I know human nature is to be influenced by the last thing we've seen, but come on. That wasn't even a top 20 worst fight in ufc history.

Implying DC wasn't hugging him the whole fight

Last 15 seconds were a great a example of that .. lol

People didn't like it because they wanted to see Silva win. Blame Silva for not being able to defend the takedowns or get back to his feet. The crowd booing on a takedown? An arena full of nuthuggers.

The silva of 2010 is no longer with us. this is what Sonnen vs Silva 1 would've looked like if it was a three round fight instead of a five round fight with the miracle triangle.

He did absolutely nothing
I'm not arguing it's a great fight, a good fight, or an average fight. It sucked. But worst fight in the history of the UFC is a pretty bold statement.
