Silva hates taking damage now? The man stands in the pocket with anyone, stands against the fence and lets guys tee off. If he hated the damage as you say then he probably wouldn't keep his hands down and invite guys to punch him just for show.

He is trying to get guys to overcommit to give him the perfect counter.

He has definitely been more conservative as of late. He and Diaz didn't commit and Silva spent a lot of the Bisping fight not being active enough. I think between the injury and the chin starting to go he has been worried about it.

Hate taking damage may have been a little strong but he has not been on the attack much lately. And he still looks just as dangerous when he is so that is why it seems even more surprising to me.
