    The spider!

He didn't have to beat the elderly and resort to kicking downed openents.

Anderson is undefeated against Forrest Griffin and Hendo while Shogun is not.

If we exchange Hayato Sakurai for Maia and AS wins imo. Maia at 185 was a beast.

Sakurai and Newton as his top five wins???
How about a juiced up undisputed Sonnen?
People always discredit Silva's win over Belfort with a ton of bullshit but surely hes higher then two guys that got pounded by 170 Hughes

You are just a hater on the greatest

Sakurai was a top 3 P4P fighter when Anderson beat him; the Maia win doesn't even come close.

Anderson also beat him at Sakurai's best weight of 168lbs, where Anderson was awfully drained.

If we are talking only top 5 wins, Shogun.
Yes, aware of the fact TS is trolling, same as the guy who made the topic Fedor or Conor top 5 wins.
    But, yeah, Shogun, sorry.
I know people are mad because Silva has many fans.
I agree he had a better career by far.
But Shogun has better top 5 wins.

Anderson wins based on the ability to argue who should even be in his top 5.

Rua's top 5 is grand prix and machida

Not really. The only ranked fighter Maia beat at MW was Shale. His next best win was Jorge Santiago who was a pretty good fighter and was ranked before Stann knocked him out cold right before. Otherwise youre looking at names like Dan Miller, Jason MacDonald, Ed Herman, Mario Mirando........lol. He pretty much lost to all the top MWs he fought (Anderson, Marquardt, Munoz, Weidman) besides Shale

Marquardt would be a much better choice for Andersons top wins than Maia
