Anderson Silva suspended one year, retroactive to date of the fight, Jan. 31. (NSAC)

He did the crime and will do the time. Looking forward to his next fight.

If you watched, you would know Anderson was never tested out of competition until he got busted. Are you suggesting he's the only fighter all these years that was never tested out of competition? Everyone else on the roster was tested randomly all these years?

Out of competition testing isn't even a year old at this point.

Nick Diaz said he wasn't tested at all in Canada and claims if he would have been he would have pissed hot for weed.

but you can't worry about the people that never pissed hot ... you have to look at the fact that anderson never was tested out of competition at all .. until he was, and he failed .. that suggests to me that he was probably juicing out of competition all along .. especially since he still denies it and his credibility is shot ... sure, you can say others MAY have been doing the same, but without proof, its just theory

does anyone even want to watch Anderson fight after his limp performance against diaz? i wouldn't even want him as a co main.

Doesn't matter what you want. Anderson is going to fight for money until he can't anymore and I don't blame him.He doesn't owe you or any other UFC fan a damned thing.

Yeah. And it's just a theory that Anderson was using all along as well. We have no proof and that was kind of my point.

And nick diaz would be suspenden forever because he smoke weed 1 month before the fight WITH A LICENSE TO SMOKE WEED

Very true.

Also true: Any suggestion he's still in the GOAT discussion is over now.

Yeah. And it's just a theory that Anderson was using all along as well. We have no proof and that was kind of my point.

A theory supported by strong evidence, that is more likely than not.

I would say the reverse: It's just a theory that Anderson wasn't using all along as well. The only proof we have one way or another is that he failed testing the first time it was administered randomly. And the only rational inference is that the theory that he was using is more probable than the theory that he was not.

600K to show? For the GOAT? For Anderson Silva Moneys?

Yet Schlemenko gets 3 years for his first failed drug test.

Before/after new drug test rules.

Even by the new rules Schlemenko should have gotten 2 years. He got the book thrown at him.

Spider fails multiple tests for multiple banned substances/PEDs and gets a slap on the wrist even by the old standard. All the while employing a cockamamie tainted viagra defense.

What a joke

So he's free to fight again in a few months after not only taking loads of substances, but lying through his dick about it.

Bet the UFC and the NSAC are happy. MGM fight is on the horizon

Being fined $380K and missing the opportunity for at last one fight for which he likely makes over $1M is hardly a joke.

Testing positive under the old system was always just a year for a positive test, retroactive from the date of the test. I can't remember there ever being a longer suspension for a first time offense, unless you can remember one.

Why the fuck are people complaining about his punishment being lenient? He got what he deserved just like other cheaters in the past. Also, he lost shit loads of money, more than anybody else in mma that I can think of.
