I rewatched silva vs maia, silva was 34 and maia 32. outside of that bizarre last 2 rounds or 2 and a half rounds I noticed how much faster silva was during that time than the last few years. he's still fast but holy @$!!÷ he was amazingly fast, accurate and scary at times in that fight and around that time, the front kick to Belfort and obviously the Forrest fight

when do you feel was Andersons peak? what age or fight were you just in awe of his ability?

I think the Belfort, forest and maia fights showed crazy quickness

Viagra seemed to slow him down.
It is almost like he's underwater.

He really, really slowed down after his injury. It's possible to maintain physical fitness into middle-age but NOT easy to get fit in middle-age.

So, I think he had to quit working out after he got injured and then got out of shape. Then, at 40, he wasn't capable of getting back into shape.

Okami II was the first time he was outright visibly slower.

32. There is no debate. The Anderson that beat Hendo loses to no man at MW ever.

His greatest performance and n my opinion his prime was vs Henderson.

Even though he fought with hands slightly down He did not clown, switched his fight style between fancy and bread and butter techniques rather then all fancy in his later fights.
His chin was solid as fuck (hendo tested it).
100% imo this was the best version of silva in his career and his peak.

The age before Osteoporosis set into his left leg.

30 years old because its between 20 and 40 but some are different but the avg person is at 30

I slowed down at 35. Not much but enough I could feel it. I think fighting you probably see it a bit sooner.

i think he was prime until that sonnen fight, where he got injured, put on a shitty performance, but still win because chael is pure shit
against belfort i dont think he was as fast as he used to be, but it was fast enough
he started looking really weird vs okami and bonnar, taunting too much and not doing anything he used to
hard to say where exactly was his prime, since he was a counter striker and there were some thales leites and demian maias creating boring fights

Can you prove he was quicker? But if he really was, it's no wonder, because he was on the hoids.

Anderson hasn't hit his peak yet. I give him 2 more years.
