Anderson Silva believes his name will be cleared soon

It was revealed yesterday that Anderson Silva will finally have his day before the NSAC

The former longtime UFC middleweight champion will have his disciplinary hearing in front of the Nevada Athletic Commission due to his steroid test failures on Aug. 13.

However, Silva believes there are inconsistencies in the drug tests, which will clear his name, MMAFighting.com's Ariel Helwani reported the news on Wednesday's edition of UFC Tonight

I think that's about as likely as Wanderlei's claims that everything was smoothed out with AC.

I don't really see how an inconsistent drug test clears his name. If he took 100 drug tests and failed only one, he's still guilty. He should just admit to taking something for medical reasons and take his punishment. This coming from one of his biggest fans :/

 

Anderson kept delaying and delaying the hearing, but now it's time to face the music.

Its amazing how things change. Unfortunately he got caught roiding and there is nothing he can do to clear his name. Should have retired as a living legend with a clean name when he had the chance.

 

Dana sounded confident Anderson will be back when asked about it in Brazil. Could just be Dana being Dana or there could be fire where there is smoke.

I highly doubt there was any tomfoolery with the tests and two false positives sounds statistically impossible. In my heart I hope they don't come down on him too harshly but in my head I know they should. In the era when steroid use wasn't really tested and so many fighters were using and abusing Andy was the best.

Hell Rogan used to always say you want the fighters juicing because it's no more unfair then a genetic edge--yes really, multiple times on old podcasts. Oddly he had some sound points.

Full disclosure: I've been on gear in the past.
But as long as it is against the rules it is cheating and (knowingly or unknowingly) Andy cheated and it is time to face the music.

 

Perhaps look for a 6 year old child somewhere who is on your intellectual level; I'm sure they can explain things to you.

I think he'll be back too, but mostly because he's delayed the hearings so long that there won't be a lot of time left on his suspension anyways.

 

At that point it will just be a matter of time before the scent of Anderson nuthugging gets into the air and draws Claude out for battle.

Was the inconsistency that they didn't find everything so the test is unreliable?

Like those 3 police officers who raided the MJ dispensary, destroyed the cameras, missed one, and are saying the camera catching them eating the pot brownies can't be used against them because they thought they destroyed all the cameras so they had an expectation of privacy.

 

I like watching Andy fight. I hope he comes back.
