Anderson Silva and Jay-Z produce "Static" (Sports Rivalry Show)

a hip-hop flavored recap of the beef between Honda and Miesha sounds like literally one of the worst things in the world.

"Haiders vs San Diego Charger... the Haider, these guys fans don't hespect nothing, no hespect the player, don't hespect fans, don't hespect homefield - is problem!"

So like "beef" but with people who can actually fight

Fedya X Cro Cop

You do get that neither Anderson or Jay Z produced this right?

Cool idea for a show. Would like to see it MMA and boxing heavy, and then also look at other sports as well

Cute response, but he's "producer" in name only. It's a hollywood thing they do to appease people by giving them meaningless credits.

This isn't Hollywood and it's not meaningless if Anderson and Jay-Z are acknowledging they produced it.

Can't teach those who don't care to learn

Then take off the tin foil hat.

This has nothing to do with Hollywood. One of the best MMA fighters of all time and one of the most influential hip-hop artists are acknowledging that they produced a new series on sports rivalries.

That in itself is meaningful.

"producer" means "investor" as in time or money. Jay and Anderson probably put their money into this and were not hands on producers, but they are still producers.

For a project like this it's unlikely Anderson actually did anything other than was given this title for simply agreeing to do the project.

Instead of posting clueless comments like that, watch the first episode.

Anderson is also actively promoting the show to his millions of fans on social media.
