It was said during the fight and I thought it was a good point. Hes legit the complete opposite, but worse. Anderson literally gives points away for free when he lets his opponents tee off on him which is entertaining to me but at the same time very frustrating. He fights to try to make a highlight reel and when it doesn't pay off it looks bad on him but when it does, its unforgettable.

Its weird, I really enjoyed the fight, sad about the result, but I'm okay with all of this. Anderson will forever be my favorite fighter, but yeah, congratulations to Bisping for the victory.

He tried the Tony Fryklund elbow like 5 times.

Watching Anderson fight is annoying sometimes.

Fedor bless

i got really frustrated aswell, if he fought hands up all the time, and didnt go all Roy Jones on his opponents, he easily could have beat bisping

call me crazy i don't think he's as good that way. his allure and elusive nature with his unorthodox playfulness is what makes him so effective.

if you watch the James Irvin fight, that fight was an Anderson in his prime, no toying around, hands up perfect Muay Thai Striking and defending. he needs to go back to his imo. his chin is shot and needs his hands up.
if it was a more powerful puncher then bisping, Anderson would of been KO'ed and i say this as a massive Anderson Fan.

"He could've won if he tried" is such a childish argument.

It's actually true this time around though.

He inexplicably took round 4 off even though it was right after he hurt Bisping badly at the end of round 3.

He lost because of his own apathy in that fight and not his fighting abilities. I wouldn't bet on bisping if they booked the rematch. Anderson just plays around too much and let's people score on him. It was a lot like the maia fight except bisping had enough movement to score more points.

How many times are we going to go over this? Silva fights like the ALL THE TIME!!!!!!! It's a gigantic part to his style, and level of success. Many times he was able to catch his opponents with that 1 big shot to end the fight. If he doesn't? He simply doesn't have much else of anything to offer due to his limited overall game. He ends ups losing rounds, or eventually gets stopped. It's NOT because he's "playing around", "clowning", or "not taking it seriously". He very much IS taking is very seriously. It's his style that he lives and dies by.

I can understand some finding it frustrating.

What I always have refuted are the excuses created by droves of his fans when he's AWESOME and going Matrix when it works out, and being and idiot, and giving the fight away when it doesn't....

Attaching Silva's "prime years" to a fight with James Irvin is not data I would suggest anyone use.

The question we all have is "Did Kenny Florian actually say this?"

Because a fight that lasted about 1 minute against an extremely low level taylor made opponent isn't exactly a fight a would have everyone take a look at to say "that's his prime"....

youre missing the point completely about why I referenced that fight, it was to explain the way he fought, which he used on not just Irvin but alot of his fights before he started dropping his hands.

I dont really care who he fought that fight, it was that fight that he he has his hands up using perfect textbook technique.
