Anderson Silva has also only beaten three or maybe four middleweights (being very generous with four) that could reasonably be called top 10 by today's standards, which is not bad but he is the most overrated MMA fighter of all time.

Anderson dismantled Rich so bad that now people barely give him credit for the wins anymore. it's easy to forget just how good Rich was before Anderson came to the UFC and laid waste to the entire division for the better part of the following decade

GSP could have helped him but he's a 170er...
He should have moved up. He used the whole teammate/brazilian excuse when they weren't really even his true teammates(Shogun, Lyoto) The Jones fight should have happened too.
Anderson got a free pass because he went up and fought a past his prime forrest and two KOTC level fighters. PPl shit on GSP beating Bisping but Bisping was just as good as Forrest if not better and GSP at least beat him when he was champ.
like look at everyone talking shit on DJ rn...but his resume is better than silvas imo... Benavidez is a top 10 P4P if he still fought...he's that good.. there's ppl that vote for the UFC rankings who still put him top 10. Also has cejudo who I think is a hell of a fighter..one of the best prospects mma has ever seen. Kyoji..these are all better wins than anything Anderson has imo
