Well I'm guessing the 10 fight contract was quite favorable.

I think he's only going to fulfill maybe 2-3 of those fights and retire.

So then it would only make sense if they have him fight every month from December 2014 to July 2015, no? :icon_chee

Zuffa had him sign that kind of contract to ensure the slavery. I.E. Anderson would not be able to fight in any other org for the remainder of his career.

His division is no longer terrible. It'll be hard for him to even fulfill 5 fights if he fights the top guys at MW.

Knew he wouldn't. He's not going to be getting fed opponents anymore, so no way he fulfills his contract.

The number of fights he'll do will probably depend on his success. If he lost his next fight, he'd probably retire or get a gimme so he could go out on a win.

Anderson one day says he'll fight for another 10 years and next day he says he doesn't think he'll have patience for 8 more fights.

Didn't really expect him to say "I have no intention of finishing the fights on my contract". But if you read between the lines, that's exactly what he said. One or two more fights and he's done. If he even comes back.

In any case if he gets knocked out again Dana will probably force him to retire like they did with Chuck. Anderson's UFC legacy is something that Zuffa doesn't want damaged too much.
