Forget the fact that it was a close fight that Bisping rightfully won 3 rounds to 2. Bisping hurt Anderson in round 1 and nearly knocked him out standing in round 2. Anderson is done. He has nothing for the top 5 at MW. He looked pretty awful minus a couple of kicks and a knee.

He is far slower so his hand dropping and messing around doesn't work like it did and his aura is completely gone. Bisping should not be dropping Anderson like that. But I'm happy as a huge Bisping fan.

He got dropped by Chael, a guy who has never seen a focus mitt when he was still in his prime too.

Love Silva, but yes he's done. So much of his game is expired at 40 years old.

His chin is failing him, he's lost 2 steps.. That not only means he can't matrix-dodge punches anymore, but his punches don't have that Anderson-zip that use to put people's lights out... A lot of guys can lose speed & win on savvy, Silva needs his ridiculous speed.. But Father Time is undefeated.

I was shocked Anderson didn't throw more knees and kicks. I guess scared to injure that leg again. The only success he had really was with kicks. Before the knee in round 3 he threw 2 kicks and one other knee.

For me he looked old, but only because I think Bisping out boxed him in what was really almost a pure boxing match.

I agree, Silva is done but not really because of his reflects or talent but because he will no longer use his great assest, kick boxing.

The only success he had in the fight came in the form of knees and kicks.

    GG Bisping

Should have been waved off. I was perfectly ok with Bisping winning until I saw the fight. Also Anderon 3, 4, 5.

He's definitely done when compared to what he once was, but he could probably still churn out a few wins over bad competition. He probably wants a couple of more pay days, so we may be seeing him fighting some chumps soon. Assuming his cinnamon isn't too badly hurt.

I love how Andy fans claim Weidman Silva doesn't count, because Andy was clowning, but then claim Silva knocked out Bisping, in a fight Bisping won, because he knocked Bisping down while Mike was having a convo with the ref.

Dude got outstruck by Chonan when he was already 29.

A few months later Chonan was knocked out in a few seconds by Henderson and Baroni.

Anderson still has plenty for anyone in the top 5 at MW. Sure he lost the decision by giving away three rounds, and yes he got pasted by Bisping, he still upkicked him in the face 0.5 seconds later and went on to rearrange his face for the rest of the fight. If he was able to do that to Bisping without even trying half the fight, imagine what he would to to the rest of MW if they are willing to stand with him.

The only question is, who does he fight from here? That top 5 is a murderer's row, but it's hard to see him going against anyone too far below it, even after the loss. It's Anderson Silva we're talking about, he should only have big, exciting fights from here on out, just like this and the Diaz fight. I loved both, and I love that Anderson doesn't even really care about winning or losing anymore. He has nothing left to prove, he just wants to have fun and put on a show.

That was more of a balance thing. Silva was never hurt against Chael. He was hurt against Bisping.

    Weidman broke his chin.
