Anderson - defend your title or reliquish it

Silva finished both fights, violently the second time lol Wtf you still talking bout?

Sonnen fans / desperate trolls... what can you do....

Not a single fighter at MW has a case to fight Anderson.

Why did he get totally controlled in 5 out of 7 rounds by a barely above average middleweight fighter then?

This ^. Not to mention that Weidman ACTUALLY FINISHES. No wonder Anderson wants nothing at all to do with him! It's not like Weidman has 2 Top 10 wins or anything and beat the #3 ranked Middleweight in DEVASTATING fashion before he called Anderson out - who conveniently decided to take a vacation (only he didn't, he fought the ever-so-dangerous Bonnar at 205 instead).

And Sonnen made him look like a $2 hooker, laying on his back with his legs spread, taking a pounding all fight. Let's not forget that.

Don't forget he tapped Sonnen out when Sonnen was cheating pumped up on TRT. Don't forget he TKO'd Sonnen when Sonnen got to cheat legally. Don't forget he sent Sonnen packing to another division.

Anderson has stated before his fight with Bonnar that he wanted to take some time off. He ended up going back on that word just to help out the Brazil card, and is likely now getting right back to where he left off. The guy has earned it.

Don't forget Anderson GREASING up his entire body either or grabbing Sonnen's shorts like his life depended on it to stop the takedowns in their rematch. :icon_lol: Yes, Anderson not only CHEATED but was warned by the head of the NSAC (Keith Kizer) for it. If he ever does it again he'll be banned from fighting in Vegas for the rest of his career. Need a source/link? Just ask.

lol, you can't save a card by just showing up yourself. He was fighting a worse version of a guy he already beat in the most lopsided fight of that year. His fight with SB was a fucking joke.

Bonnar had more of a chance than Forrest

Let's pretend like he didn't get manhandled for 5 out of 7 rounds. He won both of those fights, but he still got his ass handed to him.

Doesent matter if he loses 100 rounds he doesent fight for points, he ends people as Chael found out twice

This thread title kind of cracks me up. This guy thinks he Luke Skywalker going up to Jabba saying "Free us, or die".

So you and Keith Kizer are on the same page? Glad to know that. And Keith was warning Anderson about the shoulder he gave Chael at the weigh ins. He apparently thought it was a strike. Great guy to use as an example. Especially an example that didn't even happen.

Yeah, let's not forget he won that fight and went back to make Chael his bitch

You mean where Chael got him down within SECONDS of the 1st round (again) and then proceeded to advance into full mount? You know what full mount is? It's the most dominant position you can have in MMA. If the rules were different (they should be for a fighter helplessly in full mount) then Sonnen wouldn't have ran out of time and would've been able to dish out more GnP and even hunt for submissions. Chael, however, is no finisher, Weidman on top of him would've been game over though. This is exactly why Anderson won't fight Weidman. If Chael can get him down easily and then full mount his ass in just minutes - imagine what Weidman would do to him?!

Yup. First round was a continuation of the first fight, where Sonnen and sent him to his back and won the round with ease. Silva looked helpless and confused.

Didn't see any grappling out of Silva, unless you count blatantly grabbing the shorts in the 2nd.

The 1st victory was more impressive than the 2nd. As far as I know, Silva didn't grease and grab shorts in the 1st fight.

Ive grappled Olympic alts and NCAA wrestlers its easier to grapple bjj black belts. Silva showed great defense.

Is that you in your avatar? You look like Tony Robbins, dude. I mean that in a good way.

Yeah, that's me. Thanks! LOL. We apparently happen to have some of the same beliefs oddly enough. At least we're real and call it like we see it. Like you said, these people act as if Sonnen is some world beater and that dude gave Silva all he could handle when he isn't even a fight finisher for crying out loud. :icon_lol:

I agree, if you feel you are at a stage in your fighting career that you just want to pick fights that interest you that is fine but do not hold up the division because of it.

Until Silva fights and beats him; then Weidman will have been a can or an easy fight, right?

I mean, that's how it was with Hendo, Okami, Belfort, etc.
