Except R-Mac.

Why do all of them retire at early ages? There used to be at least 20 little Canadian fighters who fought inside the octagon whether or not we really needed them.

Why are they leaving our sport?

Patrick Cote, Olivier Aubin-Mercier, Mitch Clark, Nordine Taleb, Mitch Gagnon, Chad Laprise, John Makdessi, Nick Ring, Jason Saggo, Elias Theodorou, Sheldon Westcott, Mike Ricci, Antonio Carvalho, Chris Clements, Alexis Davis, Sarah Kaufman, Sarah Moras, and Valerie Letourneau would all like a word with you.

George retired and took the whole Canadian MMA scene with him lol.

Mma is dying in canada. It's nowhere near as popular anymore.

We have future contenders in Josh Hill and TJ Laramie and Alex Ricci on the come up.

UFC has quite a few Canadians still its just not as poplular locally unless the cards packed with locals.

Kurt Southern was entertaining last week as well if I'm dropping random names. Rama can walk into the UFC anytime now as well IMO. Circunov should do big things too don't sleep on the North quite yet.

I'm not impressed by your name calling, lol.

A typical urban MMA gym in US has a pro roster that is bigger than this list.

With ever growing Chinese immigrants' population that's making unprecedented changes upon middle class, they have been forced to realize violence is not a solution for their life.

They didn't like American bacon and moved back to Canada.

Patrick Cote and John Makdessi are still around too. I wish TJ Grant was.

We don't have as many opportunities to go pro here as fighters in really anything, I remeber when I was 16 got my black belt in kickboxing and thought I was going be a world champ fighting in K1

Then after many fights threwout Ontario I noticed that I was kicking ass but wasn't getting anywhere , so I took a job as a millwright and now I still make a good living.

Trade skills are booming here

KOTC has stores in Canadian malls that sell dvd's, t-shirts...etc. MMA is thriving in Canada, there's just no huge promotions up there really anymore that I know of. Ton of tough Canucks all around the MMA scene though.

Sorry I coudn't be your sponsor to help your talent be recognized worldwide. "Life hits harder than anything." -Rocky Balboa.

Keep training if you can, for there will be K-1 Masters in the future. I'm not sure if they'll invite a Canadian, though lol

I believe you. I know nobody in Canada wants to pay for PPV, but make sure you'll be watching UFC, not Extreme Challenge from 90's or Iowa Cage Warrior(ICW).
