Four cops were eating at a restaurant in Pittsburgh. A couple were going to be seated near them, but the man in the couple told the waitress he didn't want to sit near cops so they were seated elsewhere. In response, the cops decided to pay the couple's tab.

Look at the troll face on the cop at the bottom left

It's interesting how the fact that the people refused to sit next to the cops is deemed irrelevant. It's a completely nonsensical outrage and had the case been different, the media would have lynched them.

Imagine some white folks saying they don't want to sit next to some muslims or blacks and you'll have the pitchforks ready. Just because some policemen have(n't) done something, labeling every cop a killer or what not, is simply irrational and dumb.

You have a black guy killing police officers saying he wants to kill white people, you have a black guy raping a girl saying this is for slavery...you have fools, psychopaths and killers from every race and religion.

The hypocrisy of the media is making my head hurt from it's stupidity.

Proverbs 25:21-23New International Version (NIV)
21 If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat;
if he is thirsty, give him water to drink.
22 In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head,
and the Lord will reward you.

The bigotry that cops have to deal with from some of the public toward cops is much worse than the bigotry from the cops toward the public.

But in reality you just gave your enemy the strength to fight on Sooo ;)

I like this version better.

And if i recall, this thread was done before and the general consensus was that the cops did it as a passive-aggressive dig at the couple who refused to sit next to them. They wrote "Thanks for your support!" on the receipt or something.

Hence the "Heap burning coals" bit at the end of the real one

I would have written something to the effect of rewarding them for paying my salary...

The real question is, who in their right mind would want to eat at an Eat N' Park?

For those not familiar, it's pretty much like a Denny's.

The difference, however, is that cops are in a position of relative power. And honestly, if you can't handle the type of criticisms cops sometimes face, you probably shouldn't be on the force to begin with. Having thick skin is just a prereq for he job.

I usually don't believe you're a troll but then there are other times...

That gets thrown at me on a weekly basis. I just speak what I believe Kafir-kun.
Believing something doesn't make it true. Believing something silly is going to get you weird looks.

Think about if for a second. These cops are the victims of...having someone voluntarily decide to sit away from them. And you dare to compare this with what the cops do with the backing of the state. Its pretty ignorant.

Look man, I'm not just talking about people sitting away from cops. 3 more cops just got murdered in Baton Rouge this morning.

Violence against police is unfortunately growing but on a day to day basis the power balance in clearly in favor of the police. When a cop kills someone, he gets paid leave. When someone kills a cop, he's lucky if he goes to jail.

It wasn't because they were cops. It was because there was a black guy at the table.
(Point being that these people who wouldn't sit near cops were just like the ones that won't sit near them because they are black or whatever, such bigotry of these assholes).

Most of the people shot by cops are criminals. All people who shoot cops are criminals. We have police to protect us from criminals. The only ones who profit from less police presence are criminals. People who side with criminals over police are either criminals or pieces of shit that believe anything a criminal says.

Police risk their lives for pay and to make us safe.

Criminals make police necessary.
