Which had the better fight scene?
I want to say 1 because it was fresh when I saw it. I watched 2 again last night and found myself laughing at it more than 1 this time round.

Some takers were Bricks unspecified gun from the future and Gary's psychic powers. The latter just revealed itself at the best moment and added to the humour. Good comedy builds on jokes within jokes.

One is better because its more of a surprise and like Ron says is escalates quickly and gets out of hand. Plus Ben Stiller's Spanish language news entrance is comedy gold.

The second has its moments too but you know it's coming. That being said it has great moments like ghost of stonewall Jackson and the were hyena. It's a repeat gag but like you said they at least try and take it up a notch.

I think Anchorman 2 gets a little more hate than it deserves. It's just a little too long but it's not the worst sequel to a movie that didnt need one.

Anchorman 1. The only scene from the sequel that was on the same level as the original was the dinner with the black family.
