What don't you understand about no scat porn?
I kid, I kid.

I have never been to Cuba, but I have read about the banana wars, and watched the only two countries to ever rival the US in the post WWII era, both be Communist nations in the USSR and China, so I am skeptical of the claim that political ideology really has a whole lot to do with economic prosperity.
I do believe that the economic system the USSR employed was bound to collapse, but I am confused in how Venezuela, and Cuba are any less of a market economy than China, or Norway is.
Now Venezuela's corruption, and Fidel's authoritarianism is a very seperate issue than if the state should own the oil, I think.
The dog and the dookie should be much larger ...and probably runny but otherwise spot onThis thread
It’s not a separate issue, you’re just too naive or wear rose colored glasses to know the true nature of people when faced with meager prospects. No manifesto no core idea ever takes into account the personal aspects. It’s all one in the same I’m sorry to tell you....corruption and authoritarianism are all part of the same game

Seriously Mods.... dump this thread.
Don't be a bitch , tag someone if you are going to talk shit about them .
It's common courtesy .
Tell that to Norway, who let's the state own the oil.
I’d love to see how many Americans want to be taxed like your precious Nordic countries. Do you realize they are moving away from your highly touted “democratic socialism”? Reducing taxes, cutting government involvement, and reducing the generosity of the welfare state....almost like it can’t go one forever. Their real success was due to limits not the oxymoron “democratic socialism”
I don’t know, I’m not well enough educated on these specifics to offer a valid response, I can only tell you that every socialism I’ve ever experienced has been a nightmare (Yugoslavia, Cuba, and I also spent two weeks in Maracaibo, Venezuela back just before Chavez died and it was a nightmare then, and from what I hear it’s gotten a lot worse since).I have never been to Cuba, but I have read about the banana wars, and watched the only two countries to ever rival the US in the post WWII era, both be Communist nations in the USSR and China, so I am skeptical of the claim that political ideology really has a whole lot to do with economic prosperity.

USSR and China I only know about from history books, wonderful stories about Stalin, the Gulags, Solzhenitsyn’s book, Mao, the starvations of tens of millions, etc. But I wasn’t there so that’s just information that’s available to anyone.
All I can say is that from my personal experience, from my wife’s experience, and from the accounts of just about any other immigrant I’ve talked to, the western capitalism is the system that’s worked best compared to all those others we mentioned, and it’s not close.
I don’t know a Russian who wants to go back to the old USSR, I don’t know a Cuban who lives abroad and wants to migrate back to Cuba. I also don’t know a single Cuban here in the island who doesn’t want to leave for anywhere but here, and some are doing it by means you couldn’t imagine.
I’m not some hardcore right winger, I’m open to discussion but ffs can someone on the left offer a better solution instead of just complaining about the problems with capitalism.

How about you just go home to Alabama, Forrest, and see your mom?
Ok, I honestly don’t know much about Norway but if it’s a free market system that rewards those who work more and doesn’t take from their pockets to give to those who don’t contribute, I’m all for it.Look man, this is the key.
You ask for a example of massive social programs, and state ownership of natural resources that works, I will point you to Scandinavia, which has what we have. A checked and balanced system, where no one is supposed to be above the law.
It isn't that Norway has massive social programs, and state owned natural resources that makes them great.
It is a lack of corruption, and rule of law.
This is what the USSR, China, Cuba, Venezuela all lack.
This is my view of things. Many seem to disagree. Take it for what it is worth, which is a opinion.
Sorry but you have no right to critise people for making crazy threads ranting about things

And of course I have no sympathy for the corrupt or the filthy rich who find loopholes in the law and don’t pay their share.
they said they wanted to impeach him before he was even sworn into office. you cant impeach a normal american citizen. but i guess they eventually won. they got him.At what point should we the people, label the democrat's as enemies of the state? Rather then do the job they are supposed to do, they have waged a war against our fairly elected president. We all know how bias and hate filled the media has always been but now the officials are attacking the office of the president.
Liberalism has become a cult in the US. A cult of pure hate and intolerance. The elected party officials are now openly attacking the office of the president and our elected president himself. I believe the Democratic party in the US has become an enemy to this country, the people and the Constitution. I believe we need to call for something to be done. Weaponizing the impeachment process has gone too far. Now every president will be subject to an impeachment just because the other party doesn't like them. It's criminal.
Time to abolish the Democrat party and label liberalism as a cult of hate, IMO.
America would be a wasteland if republicans really ran things their way.
Schools for blind and deaf children would have toxic waste dumped on them by corporations with laws signed by republicans making it legal.
