She absolutely just fucking kills it in American Hustle. Too bad blind love for Jennifer Lawrence overshadows it.
 
Cause Jennifer Lawrence is pretty fucking awesome. Amy Adams is not to shabby if i must say...

I love Amy Adams in alot of what she is in , but Jennifer Lawrence is the superior actress , Jennifer Lawrence in Silver Linings Playbook/ Winter's Bone >>> anything Adams has done.

Haven't seen American Hustle yet but I really like Adams. She was really good in The Fighter.

Adams makes for a better woman, She's so much more feminine. Lawrence is better suited for tomboy masculine roles. Watch enchanted, their isn't another actress in Hollywood who could fill that role half as good. Lawrence os yhe goods but is very overrated.
 
Enchanted was Nauseating horrible example for your argument, besides Kristen Bell could have done Enchanted , she can sing well and she is a good fit for those crappy Rom-Coms

She melts into almost every role she's in and she always mixes it up with her portrayals. She's damn near unrecognizable in Prisoners.

She's becoming the female Gary Oldman.

You've got to keep an eye on Melissa Leo now. She has around 6 movies coming out next year and I'm betting one of those is gonna give her some serious Oscar heat.
 
Amy Adams used to be my girlfriends babysitter. Her mom taught Amy Adams ballet.

Damn didn't realize she was going to be that busy next year, I honestly didn't know it was Leo in Prisoners till the end credits so yeah agree with your assessment
