Amnat Ruenroeng career hurt by Olympics?

    This guy was the world champ, and beat Ioka, McWilliams Arroyo, and Zou Shiming in a row.

    Then gets TKO'd by an amateur Frenchman with no pro fights.

    Does this hurt his pro career? It wouldnt go on his record, and Im pro fighters get their ass kicked in the gym all the time.

    well, he's not allowed to fight for one of the major titles I believe, so that won't help

    probably not that big of a deal though

    His pro career is pretty much over. Not because he lost in the Olympics, but because he's a 36 year old career flyweight who's been fighting for a quarter century. He's ancient. He can't even make 112 anymore and went up to freakin' lightweight for this. I'd be surprised if he continues on with a serious career.

    He got knocked out just before the Olympics in the pro's.

    He fought at 132 in the Olympics? That would explain why he got stopped.
