Amirkhani a worse version of Aljo

Finally saw the Knight/Amirkhani fight in its entirety. I thought Amirkhani won, but not by much. That being said, this guy doesn't impress me at all. His striking still needs a lot work, but unsurprising as he trains with Irish Edmond.

Aljo's striking is better than this guy, which isn't saying much, and he has the better submission game. All I see from Amirkhani is his wrestling and stalling game from top position.

fight should have been a draw or given to knight imo. makwan just laid there and didn't do anything while knight held rubber.


i wish knight had just a tiny bit of fight IQ, dude kept pulling guard and holding rubber, i think he would've gotten the nod if he was just active off his back with elbows n shit.

Sterling got like c level takedowns tho. I’d say Makwans are better. Sterling isn’t that strong of a wrestler

I thought Jason won but was surprised how he seemed content to stay in rubber guard... Both need to make improvements if they don't want to be middle of the pack fighters.

Nah. Amirkhani is typically in fun fights. His last 3 fights have been wars.
